Saturday School

Saturday School will begin this Saturday from 8 am to 11:30 am. It is an opportunity for your child to improve his/her grade in either, Math, English and/or both classes. Students will get to have more one-on-one attention on material that they may need help with from their English/Math classes. If you have any questions, call Mrs. Ramos at 213-241-4416.

Castro 3rd Annual Book Fair is HERE!

The Book Fair is a chance for students and their families to purchase books that are interesting and fun! It will take place in room 527 during the school day, and we've added hours! It will also be open during Parent Conferences! Not only are we open at school, we are open 24/7 ONLINE until Thursday October 17th! Purchase as much as you want, and shipping is FREE when you have it delivered to the school.

Summer is Here!

Summer is here! Congratulations Class of 2017! Now it's time to enjoy your summer. It's a perfect time to read books, go to the public library, join a local summer program to stay active.You could also join a local sports team. Have a fun summer, but most of all, stay safe! See you Tuesday August 15 at 8:00 am for the First Day of School. Remember to come in uniform (check the uniform policy if you have questions) and 6th graders will meet in the Auditorium.

SBAC is right around the corner!

Students will be taking the SBAC test in a couple of weeks and should be trying their best to retain all that they have learned all year. Students will test in the ELA part May 8-12 and Math May 15-19. Students will have a special schedule during these two weeks.
