Tardy Policy

Classes begin PROMPTLY at 8 am, therefore students MUST be IN their period 1 class BY 8 am. Late students will sign in at the main entrance and parents will receive a phone call to notify them of their student's tardy.

Being in Uniform

Students are reminded that they MUST be in uniform when they are on campus. Being in uniform entails wearing Navy blue pants, orange polo, and navy blue sweater. Parent & Family Engagement Policy & School-Parent Compact for Castro MS

Parents, guardians, teachers, students, and community members have had multiple chances to provide feedback on these policies and have given suggestions. SSC has heard and approved the Parent & Family Engagement Policy and the School-Parent Compact which are now available to you. We will mail the documents jointly the week of December 9th, 2019. Summer School 2019

This program is designed to help your child meet grade level standards in Mathematics & English Language Arts. The program will be held June 19, 2019 to July 19, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. – 11:50 a.m. There will be no class on 4th of July. Student enrollment is based on eligibility, priority, and available space. SBAC is right around the corner!

Students will be taking the SBAC test in a few weeks and should be trying their best to retain all that they have learned all year. Students should be participating as much as possible and asking teachers for clarification on any misunderstandings. Students will test from May 20 - May 24, 2019. Parents, you will need to activate your Parent Portal account in order to see your child's SBAC results. Stop by the Parent Center for help with this process.
